3D Printing a Wine Themed Point of Purchase Display for a Deli & Gourmet Pub in Downtown Napa, California

First and Franklin is a deli and gourmet pub located in the heart of downtown Napa. The store has a bit of a wooden feel to it so we decided to capture that with our 3D print alongside the Napa theme of wine.

First, we sculpted a 3D grape vine.

Then, we added a base and shelves to it. On top of the base, we also decided to add the topographic map of Napa Valley, California. On the supports of the shelves, we added a card holding slot as well.

The model above was then broken down into multiple pieces so that the shelves could be attached or removed based on how many products the store wanted to display. The end result is below showing only two shelves attached.

This is how it looked when fully loaded with Energy Pods and cards in the card holding slots.

The zip ties in the pictures above are there just to grip the parts as the glue is curing underneath. This entire undertaking took 4 days from design to finishing the print. The results were a total eye candy! Lastly, this is how it looked in the store:

We are quite happy about the results too!

Art, science and innovation should always go hand in hand. Let us change the world together. Go grab an Energy Pod from your local store. If they don’t shelve it yet, have them reach out to us and we will get them signed up. Let us bring better food to this world. Cheers!
