Lettuce wrapped burgers are low in carbohydrates and also easily available everywhere at burger joints. Make a double patty and cheese burger if you're hungry or just stick with single patty if you don't feel that hungry or want to tag along another dish with the burger.
- 2 large lettuce leaves
- 1-2 slice cheese
- 1-2 burger patties
- Condiments(mustard, sugar-free calorie mayo)
- Grill or cook burger patties until they are cooked on the inside, depending on the type of meat. Fish, pork and chicken patties will have to be cooked all the way through while beef can be left raw with a sear on the outside.
- Reduce heat, place cheese on patty, cover and let the cheese melt a bit
- Remove, add condiments and wrap in lettuce. Serve.
Lettuce is optional and can be replaced with other green of your choice
